Although there were folded boxes for shipping of clinical specimen containers, the boxes were not large enough to hold more than 3 whole stool cups, and there was no protective internal lining for the box or space for same. Additionally, there was no space for placement of ice packs around the sample cups to maintain proper shipping temperatures. The shipping boxes appeared to be designed for another type of clinical specimen and had stenciled labels for biological substances, category B and UN3373.

Ensure that at least 10 clinical specimen collection containers for both viral and bacteriological agents (10 each), as well as the proper shipping containers and labels for same, are maintained by the medical staff.
