Violation:
The far point halogen analyzer charts from March 5-8 showed less than 0.2ppm for most of the day. Only the March 5 chart stated that the water was shut off. The other charts stated that there was fresh water line maintenance. A review of the charts seemed to show that there was some water flow through the system on March 7 and 8. Per the engineers, during the dry dock handoff there were notes in the dry dock paperwork that stated the water was shut off for several days. The charts did not reflect this. |
|
Recommendation:Ensure that halogen analyzer-chart recorder charts are changed, initialed, and dated daily and contain notations of any unusual water events in the potable water system. |
