CytoView II - Demonstrations
|
| CytoView II displays a virtual slide captured by
MicroScreen technology. The
images may be viewed at 10x and 40x objectives with multiple focal planes. The
virtual slide represents a capture area of 5x10mm region of a glass slide. CDC
developed this program as a computer-based
proficiency test for
cytology Pap
smears. In 2002, CytoView II was used in an evaluation study in cooperation with the
Maryland Cytology Proficiency Testing Program to compare computer-based testing
to glass slide testing.
