CDC invites experts in a review topic to participate in the systematic review. Expert panelists assist in the development and validation of protocols for collecting unpublished and published evidence and will rate evidence using pre-specified criteria. CDC and Battelle scientists support the Panels by identifying, abstracting, summarizing and evaluating the studies or evidence (published and unpublished).
