Positive sample development for performance evaluation and quality assurance in human molecular genetic testing

Goal(s):
A process is being developed to prepare and make available positive control materials for molecular genetic testing. Our objective is to introduce mutations into existing mammalian cell lines in such a way as to resemble natural human samples and be useful as quality control material.
Progress:
Contract completed in 2003.
