Individuals and organizations around the world translate Epi Info™ using language translations databases they create (Language.mdb). The following links provide examples that illustrate how to prepare a translation. Each file contains a compressed Langauge.mdb database that can be installed using Epi Info™.
Please note that these databases are created, maintained, and distributed by volunteers outside of CDC.
These examples were prepared by volunteers who periodically update the translation databases. They have been updated to the version indicated. Translation databases based on earlier versions of Epi Info™ can be used, however there may be omissions or errors in the translation which you can fix yourself. If you have questions, about the translation, please contact the translator directly. Contact information is provided below.
The graph control used in the Analysis module is provided by a third party vendor. It requires a slightly different process to translate. This process is only required to translate the graph control. The rest of Epi Info, including the rest of Analysis not related to graphing, is translated using the Language.mdb translation file described above.
