Work-related asthma: Ten most frequently reported agent categories associated with cases of work-related asthma, 1993–2008

Each case may be associated with up to three putative agents.

Percentages are based on the number of cases (n=8,239).

Each category includes many agents. For the most commonly reported agents within each category presented in this figure see table reference number 2014AT09-05. Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics lists some exposures in these categories as known asthmagens.
