1. Nationally notifiable diseases which are not reportable by law or regulation in reporting jurisdictions for the specified year are considered reporting exceptions.  Please review the link to "Methodologic Change in Identifying 'N' Indicators" for SRCA definition located on the Excel table.
2. For NNDSS event code lists beginning in year 1993, please view the MMWR Summary of Notifiable Diseases.  NNDSS event code lists not yet published in the MMWR Summary of Notifiable Diseases may be downloaded from above.
3. The 2013 Event Code List was revised on March 29, 2013 to include Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) new event code. MERS-CoV used to be called "Novel Coronavirus".
