  • In keeping with the CDC's commitment to sustainability, most HIV publications are only available electronically. All publications produced by the CDC's Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) can be accessed from the CDC HIV/AIDS web site. Limited hard copy quantities of promotional materials may still be ordered below.
  • Limited numbers of the publications are available for free. You may order more in the future.
  • Enter the quantity of each item you would like to receive. The limit is next to each box.
  • Multiple orders of the same publications to the same address will be canceled. Only the first order will be processed.
  • Double-check the shipping address! Orders are not sent if the address is incorrect.
  • Orders require 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Rush orders are not available.

RESOURCE KIT: RESOURCES FOR HIV SCREENING (MATERIALS IN FOLDER)

This information kit contains tools for a health communications program developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which includes compelling rationale for implementing HIV screening in primary care settings; an annotated guide to CDC's September 2006 Recommendations for HIV Testing of Adults, Adolescents, and Pregnant Women in Health-Care Settings; a variety of national resources for physicians, including Annals of Internal Medicine guidance statements on HIV screening from the American College of Physicians and the HIV Medicine Association and a booklet on coding for HIV tests from the American Medical Association and the American Academy for HIV Medicine. The kit also contains a brochure for patients on HIV and the HIV test and a poster.
