  • Wash your hands with soap and water many times a day!
  • You know not to talk to strangers—the same goes for strange animals! Remember not to touch animals that you don’t know, especially dogs and cats!
  • Don’t touch birds, especially if they look sick or aren’t moving.
  • Drink lots of bottled water if you are outside for a long time.
  • Wear a hat when you go outside to protect yourself from the sun.
  • Put bug spray on your skin and clothes to protect yourself from getting a mosquito bite.
  • Wear a helmet when you ride a bike!
  • Put lots of sunscreen on your skin when you go outside.
  • Pay attention to how you are feeling. Remember to tell someone if you are feeling sick!
