CTS User Guide Overview
This guide is designed to be used by CDC-funded Community-based Organizations (CBO) and Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) providers, health departments, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) staff. This is a living document and it will undergo frequent revisions and updates.
The 2019 Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Tracking System (CTS) is a user-friendly, web-based system used to request CBA services. CTS is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. You may request services for the following:
- Directly funded Community-based Organizations (CBO)
- Directly funded Health Departments (DH) for requesting services for themselves or for:
- Non-funded and Indirectly funded CBOs and Health Departments
- Healthcare Organizations in a clinical setting
- HIV Planning groups
- Others in the Health Departments jurisdictions
CTS provides CBOs and Health Departments the ability to do the following:
- Request CBA services directly
- Approve or disapprove the Needs Statement
- Approve or disapprove the action plan once it has been submitted by the Provider
- View and track the status of requests
- Provide feedback during the request process
- Receive assistance from CDC staff
- Receive prompt action on requests and services
CTS provides Preliminary Providers the ability to do the following:
- Triage the Reactive TA requests
CTS provides Primary Providers the ability to do the following:
- Triage the Reactive TA requests
- Report on the ongoing status of capacity building activities
CTS provides Lead Providers the ability to do the following:
- Complete the Jurisdictional CBA (JCBA) plan
CTS provides Lead Issue Providers the ability to do the following:
- Request CBA services as identified in the Jurisdictional CBA (JCBA) plan
