ATSDR releases for public comment its public health assessment on the Eglin Air Force Base site, Fort Walton Beach, Fla

ATSDR's public comment version of its public health assessment for Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., concludes that burning of plant materials during prescribed burns or wildfires at the site could cause air contaminants that might result in short-term adverse health effects. Public comments will be accepted through Feb. 19, 2003.
