Site: Medical-Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE) Log
Violation: The Excel version of the AGE log did not include a comments/notes column, as specified in the VSP 2025 Public Health Environmental Standards.
Recommendation: Ensure the AGE surveillance log includes a Comments/Notes column as specified in the AGE template located at https://www.cdc.gov/vessel-sanitation/php/communication-resources/index.html.

Site: Buffet-Deck 11 - Emporium Market Place
Violation: Plates were not inverted next to the passenger coffee station and were not otherwise protected.
Recommendation: During service, ensure the food-contact portion of each self-service food-dispensing utensil is covered or located beneath shielding. Ensure dishware, glassware, and utensils out for service are inverted or covered.

Site: Bar-Deck 11 - Conservatory Bar
Violation: The power cords from the table-mounted coffee machine and grinder were lying on the countertop, which made the area difficult to clean. This was corrected immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure nonfood-contact surfaces are free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices, and are designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance. Elevate power cords above the counter.

Site: Bar-Deck 5 - Creama Cafe
Violation: The water temperature at the handwashing station measured 134F. The water temperature was not adjustable by the user.
Recommendation: Ensure handwashing sinks are equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 29.4C (85F) through a mixing valve or combination faucet. For handwashing sinks with electronic sensors and other types of handwashing sinks where users cannot make temperature adjustments, ensure the temperature after the mixing valve does not exceed 49C (120F).

Violation: The water temperature at the handwashing station measured 127F. The water temperature was not adjustable by the user.

For handwashing sinks with electronic sensors and other types of handwashing sinks where users cannot make temperature adjustments, ensure the temperature after the mixing valve does not exceed 49C (120F).

Violation: The deckhead exhaust had a missing fastener above the front-loading dishwash machine.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are maintained in good repair.
