Intervention EffectivenessBefore intervention, 18 of 343 workers were diagnosed with OA. No new cases of OA or specific skin sensitization occurred among original cohort with no symptoms in 1984 (n=90) or new workers surveyed in 1988 (n=34) who survived up through the last follow-up in 1991.
