Intervention EffectivenessFifty-four of 55 subjects presented with active asthma at follow-up, 26 of which were "severe". Thirty-nine of 54 subjects were unemployed, with the risk of unemployment greater for those with severe asthma, and for those without a college degree (p<0.05). Increased risk of severe asthma was also observed for women and industrial sector workers (p<0.05).
