Intervention EffectivenessCompared to subjects still symptomatic (n=37), subjects who left the industry asymptomatic at follow-up (n=38) were more likely to have shorter duration of exposure prior to symptom onset (p<0.05), and shorter duration of symptoms prior to diagnosis (p<0.05). Subjects who remained on the job (n=50) continued to have asthma attacks.
