Site: Potable Water-Cross-Connection Control Program
Violation: The listing of cross connections did not include the air gaps for the mineralizer, water softener, or evaporator drains.
Recommendation: Ensure that air-gaps are included in the cross-connection control program listing.

Violation: The cross-connection listing for the passenger and crew showers/toilets did not list the type of backflow prevention device/method used.
Recommendation: Ensure that the cross-connection control program listing includes the backflow prevention method/device for each (non-continuous pressure type, continuous pressure type, atmospheric vacuum breaker, etc.), so that there is a match to the plumbing system component and location.

Violation: There was one screw missing from each of the two main drain covers.
Recommendation: Ensure all drain cover fasteners are installed properly.

Violation: The drain covers were not stamped with an approving organization or flow rate information. The documentation received from the yard stated that the covers were "anti-vortex", however the cited references were for construction materials.
Recommendation: Ensure that the drain covers have either the plumbing/engineering approving organization stamp and flow rate affixed to the cover, or that a letter is maintained aboard the vessel certifying that the cover meets the safety requirements outlined in AMSE/ANSI A112.19.8M or an equivalent standard.

Violation: The bulk milk dispenser tube was not cut at an angle to allow the milk tube to drain.
Recommendation: Ensure that the bulk milk container dispensing tube is cut on the diagonal leaving no more than 25mm (1 inch) protruding from the chilled dispensing head.

Site: Buffet-LeBistrot Beverage Stations (Port/Starboard)
Violation: A void space was noted in the technical compartment of both beverage stations. The void was clean at the time of the finding. This was corrected.
Recommendation: Ensure that nonfood-contact surfaces are free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices, and designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance.

Violation: Some of the large, black waiter trays were damaged along the edges.

Violation: There was a void space between the storage cabinet insert and the floor of the technical space located below the espresso machine.. The void space was sealed at the time of the inspection.
