THERE WERE SEVERAL DAYS SINCE THE LAST INSPECTION WHERE RECORDS OF CHLORINATION TESTING FOR THE PRODUCTION OF POTABLE WATER INDICATED THAT NO INITIAL CHLORINE TEST WAS PERFORMED. STAFF INDICATED THAT THE PRODUCTION WATER START TIME WAS NOT THE ACTUAL PRODUCTION OF WATER BUT THE START OF THE EVAPORATORS (I.E. THE EVAPORATORS STARTED AT 1538 HOUR AND THE PRODUCTION OF WATER WAS AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER.) THIS WAS NOTED ON THE LAST INSPECTION AS WELL.

Ensure that an initial halogen residual test is conducted at the start of the water production process to establish the correct halogen dosage. Record the results of this test and have available for review during inspections.
