ATLANTA, GA -- The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) released a new report for public comment as part of the Midlothian Area Air Quality Petition Response. The federal agency invites the public to review the report and submit their comments until June 9, 2016.
The report evaluated the public health impacts from deposition of air emissions to other media such as soil, water, and vegetation.

Copies of the report can be reviewed during regular hours of operation at the A.H. Meadows Library, 921 S. 9th Street, Midlothian.
The public comment process gives residents the opportunity to review documents, ask questions, and provide their input. ATSDR’s response to those comments will be included in the appendices of the final report.

ATSDR will visit the Midlothian community to discuss with residents the findings and conclusions of report. Community members will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with ATSDR scientists.
