Beginning Jan. 1, 2005, Upper Cape Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) community public health concerns will be handled by the Canton office of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) or the Boston office of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), a public health agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, announced today plans to conduct a meeting with the Community Assistance Panel (CAP) for the Otis Air Force Base/Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) site. The CAP is made up of community members who live around the site.
