The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), a public health agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will hold a public availability session in Fairmont, W.Va., on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000.
Staff members from ATSDR and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be available to discuss planned activities related to the Big John Salvage Hoult Road Superfund site, to listen to peoples' health concerns and to answer site-specific questions. The sessions will be held at the East Dale Elementary School, Rt. 3, Fairmont, W.Va., from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), a public health agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, announced today plans to hold a community planning meeting for residents of Marion, Ohio, to discuss health concerns related to ongoing environmental investigations at River Valley High School.
