It was reported that a weak CF cross with Triniti and Ieri viruses has been observed [1] , but this could not be confirmed at TRVL nor by Downs [2] . It is, therefore, for the present listed as an ungrouped virus.
Aruac virus was shown to be related to an unregistered virus isolated in
French Guyana
[5] . The extent of the antigenic relation between these two viruses has not been defined. Therefore, provisionally, Aruac will continue to be listed as an ungrouped virus (ed.).
