A review of the medical records indicated that the passenger was a "non-AGE" case. However there was no clear description or underlying medical condition explaining why the case was determined to be non-reportable.

Recommendation:
The gastrointestinal illness report shall contain:
(1) The name of the vessel; (2) The ports of embarkation and disembarkation; (3) The dates of embarkation and disembarkation; (4) The total numbers of reportable cases of gastrointestinal illness among passengers and crew members, including those who have been disembarked or removed because of illness, even if the number is 0; and (5) The total number of passengers and crew members on the cruise.

There were 5 whirlpools on a single filtration and halogenation system. Staff had been previously testing the free halogen residual at a single point. On the previous inspection, staff were told to test each whirlpool individually. A review of the past fixe months records for that testing showed that all the Jacuzzi's consistently had the same free halogen reading. Staff may return to the original, single free halogen test procedure with once per month individual whirlpool free halogen testing as a verification.

Ensure that residual halogen logs are maintained with residuals measured and recorded hourly during operation.
