Item No.: 21
Site: Galley-Bell Box Starboard Side
Violation: Peeling sealant was noted on the plate warmer heating element.
Recommendation: Remove the peeling sealant.

Site: Galley-Deck 5 Pot Wash
Violation: The pot wash machine data plate recommended a final sanitizing time of 25 seconds. The actual sanitizing time was monitored at 17 seconds. Engineering staff was called to lengthen the sanitizing cycle.
Recommendation: Ensure that warewashing machines and their auxiliary components: (1) Are operated in accordance with the machine's data plate and other manufacturer's instructions. (2) A warewashing machine's conveyor speed or automatic cycle times are maintained accurately timed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.

Site: Bar-Pool Bar
Violation: The sanitizing solution was measured at over 200 ppm. This was corrected during the inspection.
Recommendation: Ensure that a chlorine solution used as a sanitizing solution has a concentration between 50 mg/L (ppm) and 200 mg/L (ppm).

Site: Galley-Horizon Court
Violation: Tile work was being performed next to the clean glass storage. Staff rewashed the glasses and placed the storage rack out of service.
Recommendation: Ensure that cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, and single-service and single-use articles are stored: (1) In a clean, dry location; (2) Where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (3) At least 150 mm (6 inches) above the deck.

Site: Galley-Dishwash
Violation: The handwash station at the soiled landing was blocked by dishware. This area was in active use and the items were moved during the inspection.
Recommendation: Ensure that handwashing facilities are used for no other purpose and are accessible at all times.
Item No.: 33
Site: Galley-Pizzeria
Violation: The bottom of the bulkhead was damaged, exposing wood and plaster. This was noted in the entrance corridor. Staff stated that a work order was in place to repair this bulkhead.
Recommendation: Repair or replace the bulkhead with a smooth, durable and easily cleanable surface. Ensure that decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas, are maintained in good repair.
