Violation: THE LOGS AND RECORD KEEPING FOR THE POTABLE WATER, AND POOLS AND SPAS WERE EXCELLENT.

Violation: THE INTERMEDIATE ATMOSPHERIC VENTS ON NUMEROUS CARBONATION UNIT BACKFLOW PREVENTERS HAD PLASTIC PLUGS INSTALLED PREVENTING THEM FROM OPERATING AS DESIGNED.
Recommendation: Remove the plastic plugs.

Site: Other-HORIZON GRILL - BUFFET LINE
Violation: LOOSE AND PEELING SEALANT WAS NOTED WITHIN THE EXHAUST HOODS OVER THE PORT AND STARBOARD OMELET STATIONS.
Recommendation: Remove the peeling sealant in these areas. If the seams between the stainless steel panels are less than 1 mm there is no requirement to seal them with sealant. If greater than 1 mm it is recommended that they be covered by a stainless steel profile.

Site: Other-MAIN GALLEY DECK 5 / BUTCHER SHOP
Violation: THE ECOLAB FLEX PAK DISH DETERGENT HOLDER HAD DAMAGED PLASTICIZED SUPPORTS THAT WERE CORRODING. THE UNIT WAS LESS THAN 30 DAYS OLD.
Recommendation: Provide a detergent holder that meets the same requirements as all other galley equipment. 7.4.1.1.9 Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment that are exposed to splash, spillage, or other food soiling or that require frequent cleaning shall be constructed of a corrosion-resistant, nonabsorbent, and smooth material.

Violation: THE CONDENSATE DRAIN LINE FROM THE CONDENSER UNIT ADJACENT TO THE DOOR WAS LEAKING. A PLASTIC CONTAINER WAS POSITIONED ON THE DECK UNDER THE UNIT TO COLLECT THE LEAKING CONDENSATE.
Recommendation: Repair the leaking drain line.

Site: Other-MAIN GALLEY DECK 5 / POT WASH AREA
Violation: CONDENSATION WAS NOTED DRIPPING FROM THE INSIDE OF THE EXHAUST HOOD OVER THE POTWASHING MACHINE AND ONTO THE CLEAN LANDING.
Recommendation: Ensure that the exhaust hood extraction is properly balanced to remove the steam coming from the pot wash machine, allow the complete draining of the potwash machine before opening the doors to remove the pots and pans.
