ALTHOUGH THIS WATER WAS REPORTED BY THE SHIP'S ENGINEERING STAFF TO BE USED TO FILL TECHNICAL LAUNDRY WATER TANKS ONLY, THE DOCUMENTATION OF THE PROCESS WAS IN THE POTABLE WATER PRODUCTION LOG BOOK WITH NO ENTRIES OF THE TANKS WHICH WERE FILLED.

A distillation plant or other process that can be used to make potable water can not be operated in polluted or harbor areas even if it is to make non-potable or technical water.
