Site: Other-POTABLE WATER
Violation: THE LOCATIONS OF THE FOUR MONTHLY E. COLI TESTS WERE NOT CHANGED EVERY MONTH.
Recommendation: 5.6.1.1.1 A minimum of four potable water samples per month shall be collected and analyzed for the presence of Escherichia coli. Samples shall be collected randomly from locations forward, aft, upper, and lower decks of the vessel.

Violation: THE PH TEST RESULTS FROM THE SHORE SIDE WATER SUPPLY WERE NOT RECORDED PRIOR TO BUNKERING.
Recommendation: 5.2.1.2.1 A halogen demand test and pH shall be conducted on the shore-side water supply before starting the bunkering process to establish the correct halogen dosage.

Violation: A CORE SAMPLE WAS NOT CONDUCTED ON THE FILTER MEDIA ON A MONTHLY BASIS.
Recommendation: 6.3.1.1.5 The granular filters shall be opened at least monthly and examined for cracks, mounds, or holes in the filter media. A core sample of the filter media shall be inspected for excessive organic material accumulation using a recommended sedimentation method.

Recommendation: Remove this soft sealant and replace with a hard food grade sealant.

Violation: FOUR DAMP WIPING CLOTHS WERE NOT STORED IN THE SANITIZING SOLUTION.
Recommendation: 7.3.3.4.4.2 Wiping cloths shall be restricted to the following: (2) Cloths used for wiping food spills shall be dry and used for wiping food spills from tableware and single-service articles or wet and cleaned, stored in a chemical sanitizer, and used for wiping spills from food-contact and nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment.

Violation: A COVERED WASTE RECEPTACLE WAS NOT PROVIDED IN THE TOILET ROOM.
Recommendation: 7.7.1.2.5 Easily cleanable covered receptacles shall be provided for hygiene waste materials.
