Violation: CONTINUE TO RESOLVE THE PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED ITEMS FROM THE LAST INSPECTION: TO INCLUDE PURCHASE OF POOL SAFETY EQUIPMENT, INSTALLATION OF POOL AND SPA SIGNAGE, DEPTH MARKING OF POOLS, WRITING OF FECAL ACCIDENT PLANS, INSTITUTING A MICROBIOLOGICAL TESTING PROCEDURE FOR POTABLE WATER, WRITING AN INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT PLAN, AND POSTING A CONSUMER ADVISORY NOTICE.

Violation: THE 4 HOUR GASTROINTESTINAL ILLNESS REPORT SENT TO VSP WAS ACTUALLY BEING SENT 12 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IN PORT.
Recommendation: The 4 hour gastrointestinal illness report should be made aproximately 4 hours before arrival in the US port.

Violation: A HALOGEN DEMAND TEST AND PH TEST WERE NOT CONDUCTED ON THE SHORE-SIDE WATER SUPPLY PRIOR TO BUNKERING.
Recommendation: [5.2.1.2.1] A halogen demand test and pH shall be conducted on the shore-side water supply before starting the bunkering process to establish the correct halogen dosage.

Violation: A COATED FRYING PAN FOUND IN THE CLEAN STORAGE AREA HAD A ROUGH DIFFICULT TO CLEAN SURFACE WHERE THE COATING WAS COMING OFF PAN.
Recommendation: [7.4.1.1.2] Materials that are used in the construction of multiuse utensils and food-contact surfaces of equipment shall be: (1) Durable, corrosion-resistant, and nonabsorbent; (2) Sufficient in weight and thickness to withstand repeated warewashing; (3) Finished to have a smooth, easily cleanable surface; and (4) Resistant to pitting, chipping, crazing, scratching, scoring, distortion, and decomposition.

Violation: THE POWER CABLE TO THE SANDWICH GRILL WAS FRAYED.

Violation: A LAYER OF GREASE WAS NOTED ON THIS FRYING PAN IN CLEAN STORAGE. SEVERAL OTHER POTS IN THE CLEAN STORAGE AREA HAD FOOD RESIDUE ON THEM.
Recommendation: [7.5.5.1.2] The food-contact surfaces of cooking equipment and pans shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other soil accumulations.

Violation: SOIL WAS FOUND ON THE INTERIOR OF TWO POTS STORED ON THE CLEAN UTENSIL RACK.

Violation: PANELS THAT COVER LIQUOR DISPLAYS DURING CLOSED PERIODS DO NOT HAVE A STORAGE SPACE DURING OPERATING HOURS. IN THE CASINO BAR, THEY WERE ON THE DECK BEHIND THE ICE MACHINE. IN THE LOBBY BAR THEY WERE ON THE DECK PARTIALLY BLOCKING THE HANDWASHING SINK.
Recommendation: The panels should be stored off the deck and in a manner that does not block access to the hand washing sink.

Violation: PLATES USED FOR SERVICE WERE SUBJECT TO SPLASH FROM THE HAND WASH SINK.
Recommendation: [7.5.7.3.1] Cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, and single-service and single-use articles shall be stored: (1) In a clean, dry location; (2) Where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (3) At least 15 centimeters (6 inches) above the deck.

Violation: THE SPLASH GUARD FOR THE HAND WASH SINK MADE ACCESS DIFFICULT FOR EMPLOYEES.
Recommendation: [7.7.1.3.1] Handwashing facilities shall be used for no other purpose and shall be accessible at all times.

Violation: DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO THE CORRIDOR DOOR IN THE FRUIT PREP ROOM. SEVERAL BULKHEAD PANELS HAD HOLES WHERE PENETRATION PLUGS WERE MISSING.
Recommendation: Decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas shall be constructed and maintained for easy cleaning.

Violation: THE DECORATIVE LIGHTING OVER THE SERVICE AREA WAS NOT SHIELDED OR SHATTER RESISTANT.
Recommendation: [7.7.5.1.1] The light intensity shall be at least 220 Lux (20 foot candles) on food preparation surfaces, and at a distance of 75 centimeters (30 inches) above the deck in food preparation areas, handwashing facilities, warewashing areas, equipment, and utensil storage, pantries, toilet rooms, and consumer self-service areas.

Violation: HEAVY CONDENSATION WAS NOTED ON DECKHEAD AT SOILED END OF DISHWASHING OPERATION FOR THE PACIFIC DINING ROOM.
Recommendation: [7.7.6.1.1] All food preparation, warewashing, and toilet rooms shall have sufficient ventilation to keep them free of excessive heat, steam, condensation, vapors, obnoxious odors, smoke, and fumes.
