Violation: THE CHARTS AT THE FAR POINT HALOGEN RECORDER HAD A SCALE OF 0-100. THE ENGINEER IN CHARGE OF THE WATER STATED THAT HE HAD REQUESTED THE CHARTS BUT THEY HAD NOT YET BEEN PROVIDED.
Recommendation: Provide charts with a range of 1-5 for the far point halogen chart recorder.

Violation: THE FOLLOWING POTABLE WATER LINES WERE NOT STRIPED BLUE: 1. POTABLE WATER CHEMICAL DOSING TANK FILLING LINES IN THE ENGINE ROOM 2. SUPPLY LINES TO THE HANDWASHING SINK IN THE GARBAGE ROOM.
Recommendation: 5.3.2.1.1 Potable water piping shall be painted light blue or striped with 15 cm (6 inches) light blue bands or a light blue stripe at fittings on each side of partitions, decks, and bulkheads and at intervals not to exceed 5 m (15 feet) in all spaces, except where the decor would be marred by such markings.

Recommendation: 7.5.5.1.3 Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Violation: THE INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT (IPM) PLAN DID NOT PROVIDE FOR ACTIVE MONITORING. THE IPM LOGS DID NOT INDICATED THE TIMES OF DAY THAT INSPECTIONS WERE DONE.
Recommendation: 8.1.1.1.3 The Integrated Pest Management Plan shall include provisions for active monitoring including pest sighting logs for the operational areas of the vessel and training for crew members in charge of log completion. Ensure that the logs are completed correctly.

Recommendation: 7.7.4.2.3 Decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas, shall be maintained in good repair.

Recommendation: 7.3.4.2.2 If raw, raw-marinated, partially cooked, or marinated-partially cooked fish are served in ready-to-eat form: (1) The person in charge shall record the freezing temperature and time to which the fish are subjected and shall retain the records on the vessel for 90 calendar days beyond the time of service or sale of the fish; or (2) If the fish are frozen by a supplier, a written agreement or statement from the supplier stipulating that the fish supplied are frozen to a safe temperature and a time.
