Violation: THE BACKFLOW PREVENTERS ON THE COFFEE MACHINES IN THESE AREAS WERE LEAKING. THIS WAS CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION.
Recommendation: Ensure that backflow prevention devices are periodically inspected and replaced if leaking.

Violation: THE POOLS DID NOT HAVE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED DEPTH MARKERS.
Recommendation: Ensure that depth markers are installed for every 1 m (3 feet) in change of depth and are displayed prominently so they can be seen from the deck and from in the pool.

Violation: A SCRATCHED AND PITTED CUTTING BOARD WAS STORED IN THE CLEAN UTENSIL AREA.
Recommendation: Ensure that materials that are used in the construction of multiuse utensils and food-contact surfaces of equipment are: (1) Durable, corrosion-resistant, and nonabsorbent; (2) Sufficient in weight and thickness to withstand repeated warewashing; (3) Finished to have a smooth, easily cleanable surface; and (4) Resistant to pitting, chipping, crazing, scratching, scoring, distortion, and decomposition.

Violation: SOFT SEALANT WAS NOTED ON THE BACKPLATE OF THE MEAT SLICERS IN THE FOOD SERVICE AREAS. THIS IS DONE BY THE MANUFACTURER, NOT THE VESSEL. ALSO, A CHLORINE SOLUTION IS USED TO DISINFECT THE SLICERS. THIS IS LEAVING A WHITE POWDERY RESIDUE AND IS STARTING THE CORROSION PROCESS. IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO FIND ANOTHER WAY TO SANITIZE THESE MACHINES.

Violation: THE HANDWASH STATION IN THE PORTSIDE DISHWASH AREA DID NOT HAVE A SIGN STATING "WASH HANDS OFTEN".
Recommendation: Ensure that a sign stating "WASH HANDS OFTEN" in a language that the food employees understand is posted over handwashing sinks.

Violation: THE DECK UNDER THE WATER STATION IN THE PORTSIDE DISHWASH AREA WAS SOILED WITH FOOD RESIDUE.
Recommendation: Ensure that decks, bulkheads, deckheads, and attached equipment in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are cleaned as often as necessary.

Violation: CARPET WAS NOTED ON THE DECK AREA OF THE REVOLVING DOORS ON THE PORTSIDE AND STARBOARD SIDE OF THE ENTRY TO THE PANTRY. THIS AREA IS BECOMING WORN AND IS NOT EASILY CLEANABLE.
Recommendation: Ensure that decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are maintained in good repair.
