According to the medical staff, follow-up for asymptomatic crew members is done for only 24 hours. In the STARDOCS database, the time and date stamp for zero and 24 hour follow-ups were the exact same date and time. This was the case for the past three asymptomatic crew members. In addition, the date and time stamped 48 hour follow-up was for the day following the 24 hour follow-up. However, according the medical staff, no follow-up was done at 48 hours and the box for this item was only checked to close out the case.

Recommendation:
Ensure that medical staff conduct daily verbal interviews with asymptomatic crew until 48 hours after onset of the ill crew members symptoms.
