Site: Potable Water-SUITE 8750, DECK 12
Violation: THE AIR GAP ON THE PRIVATE WHIRLPOOL BATHTUB WAS LESS THAN THE REQUIRED TWO PIPE DIAMETERS, AND A BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE COULD NOT BE LOCATED ON THE POTABLE WATER SUPPLY LINE.
Recommendation: Ensure that proper backflow protection is provided at the in cabin whirlpool bathtubs.

Violation: THE MULTIPLE DAY CHARTS UTILIZED TO RECORD THE FREE HALOGENATION CONCENTRATION AND PH FOR THE WHIRLPOOLS DID NOT PROVIDE DETAILS REGARDING THE CONCENTRATION OR THE COLOR OF PEN UTILIZED FOR HALOGEN AND PH. THE STAFF COULD NOT PROVIDE THE INFORMATION ON WHAT EACH COLOR REPRESENTED NOR WERE THEY ABLE TO DETERMINE THE HALOGEN CONCENTRATION.
Recommendation: Ensure that the crew responsible for operating and maintaining the whirlpool spas are knowledgeable of the information recorded on the whirlpool spa charts and that the charts accurately Indicate halogen and pH levels of the spas.

Site: Food Service General-TECHNICAL AREAS OF REFRIGERATION UNITS
Violation: THE BRINE CHILL WATER LINES TO THE REFRIGERATORS IN FOOD SERVICE AREAS AND THE BARS HAD GREEN OPEN CELL INSULATION WHICH WAS DIFFICULT TO CLEAN. IT APPEARED THAT EITHER THERE WERE LEAKS IN THE CHILL WATER SYSTEM OR THAT THE INSULATION WAS NOT SUFFICIENT BECAUSE THESE LINES WERE SOILED WITH MOLD.
Recommendation: Repair or replace the open cell insulation so it is easy to clean, and non-absorbent.

Violation: THE HINGES ON ONE OF THE DOORS TO THE MULTIFLOW CABINET WERE BROKEN AND THE DOOR WAS SETTING ON THE DECK.
Recommendation: Repair the door.

Site: Buffet-HORIZON COURT AND CAFE CARIBE
Violation: THE SOLID SURFACE BUFFET COUNTERS WERE CRACKED IN NUMEROUS AREAS, ESPECIALLY AROUND THE HOT SERVICE AREAS. WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE STILL PENDING ON THESE COUNTERS.
Recommendation: Repair the damaged sections of the buffet counters.

Site: Food Service General-TECHNICAL AREAS OF REFRIGERATION UNITS
Violation: THE GREEN FOAM INSULATION ON THE BRINE CHILL WATER LINES TO THE REFRIGERATORS IN THE GALLEYS, AND BARS WERE SOILED WITH PINK AND BLACK SLIME MOLD.
Recommendation: Ensure that nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment are kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Violation: THE DIAPER CHANGING STATION WASTE RECEPTACLE WAS NOT AIR-TIGHT. THIS WAS CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION.
Recommendation: Ensure that each station includes an airtight, soiled-diaper receptacle.
