Site: *General Comments-Records and Operations
Violation: The records and operations for the medical center, potable water, recreational water, pest management, housekeeping, and ventilation were very strong.

Site: Food Service General-Culinary Arts Center and Club Hal - Variance Pending
Violation: The ship conducts hands-on and demonstration-style food preparation activities for both adult and young guests. A variance was submitted to VSP for these procedures, which is undergoing review.

Site: Dining Room-Tamarind Restaurant - Menu's
Violation: Due to the page formatting and the decorative corner covers on each of the individual menu's, it was not clear to see the asterisk ( * ) written at the beginning of the consumer advisory near the bottom of the page to explain what the asterisk's next to specific undercooked fish and seafood items was for.
Recommendation: Recommend some re-formatting of the menu page so the holder in the lower corners does not block part of the consumer advisory or the asterisk in front of the advisory.

Site: Galley-Lido Galley - Beverage Station
Violation: The three filled juice concentrate containers inside the juice dispenser did not have the plastic lids on to cover. Staff found the container lids and covered each during the inspection.
Recommendation: Protect food from contamination by storing the food: (1) Covered or otherwise protected; (2) In a clean, dry location; (3) Where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (4) At least 15 centimeters (6 inches) above the deck.

Site: Buffet-Lido Buffet - Dessert Section
Violation: The top trays inside the reach-in refrigerators entering the space had trays of dessert items on the top shelf with no covering. Staff re-organize both refrigerators during the inspection.
Recommendation: Protect food from contamination by storing the food: (1) Covered or otherwise protected; (2) In a clean, dry location; (3) Where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (4) At least 15 centimeters (6 inches) above the deck.

Site: Galley-Deck 2 Main Galley - Pastry
Violation: There was an entire rack of gelatin in individual serving bowls uncovered inside pastry walk-in refrigerator #26. Staff corrected this during the inspection.
Recommendation: Protect food from contamination by storing the food: (1) Covered or otherwise protected; (2) In a clean, dry location; (3) Where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (4) At least 15 centimeters (6 inches) above the deck.

Site: Galley-Deck 3 Main Galley - Beverage Station
Violation: There was a significant accumulation of a grey colored granular debris in the bottom of the cuber water bath for the in-use ice machine #2.
Recommendation: Ensure food only contacts surfaces of equipment and utensils that are cleaned and sanitized. Ensure food contact surfaces of equipment and utensils are clean to sight and touch.

Site: Children Area-Club HAL - Child Activity Center
Violation: Several of the previously cleaned Lego block toys were found stored in the clean bin and still wet in the void spaces. Staff removed them to air-dry immediately after the inspection.
Recommendation: Ensure all toys are thoroughly air-dried following cleaning and before storing in the clean bins.
