Item No.: 08
Site: Potable Water-Deck 9 - Sauna Thermal Equipment Room
Violation: The water lines connected to the aroma therapy unit were not labeled indicating potable water.
Recommendation: Stripe or paint potable water lines either in accordance with ISO 14726 (blue/green/blue) or blue only. Stripe or paint distillate and permeate lines directed to the potable water system in accordance with ISO 14726 (blue/gray/blue). Ensure no other lines have the above color designations. Stripe or paint these lines at 5 meters (15 feet) intervals and on each side of partitions, decks, and bulkheads, except where decor would be marred by such markings, including potable water supply lines in technical lockers. Do not stripe or paint potable water lines after reduced pressure assemblies as potable water. Identify all refrigerant brine lines and nonpotable chilled water lines in all food areas, such as on ice machines, ice cream machines, etc., with either ISO 14726 (blue/white/blue) or by another uniquely identifiable method to prevent cross-connections.
Item No.: 08

Item No.: 10
Site: Recreational Water Facilities-Maintenance Records
Violation: Records documented the backwashing of sand filters in March 2023 and in January, February, and March 2024. Staff explained that this was not accurate because there are no sand filters. These records were signed and verified by a supervisor.
Recommendation: Ensure the records include any major maintenance work on the filtration and halogenation systems and UV disinfection systems. Ensure a written or electronic log of RWF filter inspection results, granular filter sedimentation test results, backwashing frequency and length of backwashing, and date and time of water dumping is available for review during inspections. Ensure dual-scale halogen analyzer-chart recorder charts used in recreational water facilities are able to measure the full range of halogen/pH of the facility type for which the chart is installed.
Item No.: 10
Site: Recreational Water Facilities-Private Jetted Tub Maintenance
Violation: Cleaning and disinfection records documented nine days between cleaning and disinfecting these units from 1 March 2024 to 9 March 2024. Staff stated that the date was incorrect and should have been 2 March 2024. These records were signed and verified by a supervisor.
Recommendation: Clean and disinfect private whirlpool spas located in individual passenger cabins, including associated recirculation systems, between occupancies or weekly, whichever is more frequent. Ensure disinfection is accomplished with an appropriate halogen-based disinfectant at 10 ppm for 60 minutes, or an equivalent CT value.
Item No.: 22
Site: Galley-Deck 3 - Potwash
Violation: The temperature gauge for the three-compartment sink sanitizing compartment was not working. The gauge read 0F when the sanitizing solution measured 84F. The technician turned on the steam valve which increased the sanitizing solution temperature to 94F, but the gauge continued to read 0F.
Recommendation: Maintain warewashing equipment in good repair and proper adjustment, including: (1) warewashing equipment is maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the standards of the materials, design, and construction of these guidelines; (2) water pressure and water temperature-measuring devices are maintained in good repair and accurate within the intended range of use.
Item No.: 22
Site: Galley-Deck 11 - Morimoto Sushi and Tamarind Potwash
Violation: The temperature gauge for the three-compartment sink sanitizing compartment was not working. The needle was not on its mounting pin, but instead was positioned vertically to the far right inside the glass.
Item No.: 22
Site: Galley-Deck 9 - Lido Market Dishwash
Violation: When the inspection team was in the dishwash area, the electrical panel and visual alarm of the conveyor dishwash machine continuously changed between good working order and error mode. Dishes continued to be loaded during this time with no break in operation. The electrical panel continuously switched between all four tanks identified as green for 'in temperature' to identified as orange for 'low temperature.' It was difficult to determine which tank had low temperature. Also, the visual alarm light on the side of the machine kept switching between flashing red for 'error' and no light for 'good working order.' This dishwash machine was installed during the December 2023 dry dock. Inspection of the machine indicated the wash tank and final sanitizing rinse temperatures to be within range, and the final sanitizing rinse spray nozzles were producing an effective spray pattern.
Item No.: 22
Site: Galley-Deck 2 - Pinnacle Grill Dishwash
Violation: Inside the dishwash machine, the far right upper final sanitizing rinse spray nozzle was partially blocked, creating an ineffective spray pattern. This was immediately corrected.
Item No.: 24
Site: Galley-Deck 2 - Potwash
Violation: The chemical sanitizing compartment of the three-compartment sink measured 70F, matching the sink's internal temperature gauge. This sanitizing solution is to be a minimum of 75F.
Recommendation: Ensure a chemical sanitizer is used in accordance with the EPA-approved manufacturer?s label use instructions at a minimum temperature of 24C (75F) with an exposure time of 7 seconds for a chlorine solution and 30 seconds for other chemical sanitizers.
Item No.: 27
Site: Galley-Deck 9 - Lido Market
Violation: Two bulk milk dispenser units were removed from the small countertops on the morning of the inspection. This left the remaining 25 mm high legs filled with debris. The debris was cleaned.
Recommendation: Ensure nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment are kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.
Item No.: 33
Site: Galley-Deck 9 - Lido Market
