Site: Buffet-Deck 9 - Lido Market Portside Omelet Station
Violation: Water leaked from the deckhead and pooled on the countertop behind the handwashing station. The area was in operation at the time, but no food was impacted. Maintenance started immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment are kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Violation: The following food-service areas had flies: Deck 9 - Dive-In Galley - Two flies around the closed pass-through window and three flies near the back handwashing station. Deck 9 - Lido Market Buffet- Two flies at the forward beverage station. Deck 3 - Main Galley Roast Station - Two flies near potwash area.
Recommendation: Effectively control the presence of insects, rodents, and other pests to minimize their presence in food areas.

Violation: The heat lamp in the portable heating unit was damaged. This was replaced immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure light bulbs are shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter resistant in areas with exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service articles and single-use articles. Protect an infrared or other heat lamp against breakage by a shield surrounding and extending beyond the bulb so only the face of the bulb is exposed.

Ensure the light intensity is at least 220 lux (20 foot-candles) as measured 750 millimeters (30 inches) above the deck in food preparation areas, handwashing facilities, warewashing areas, equipment and utensil storage, pantries, toilet rooms, and consumer self-service areas.

Site: Medical-Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE) Reporting
Violation: A nonfood employee reported onset of AGE symptoms on 6 February 2026 at 0200 but did not immediately report to medical and worked while symptomatic. The crew member reported to medical on 6 February 2026 at 1400. The crew member did not eat in the crew mess while symptomatic. A corrective action assessment was conducted.
Recommendation: When nonfood employees are symptomatic and meet the case definition for AGE, ensure the following actions are taken: (1) Isolate in cabin or designated restricted area until symptom-free for a minimum of 24 hours.
