TANK 9P HAD 10 METRIC TONS OF WATER INSIDE THE TANK WHEN BUNKERING BEGAN. A SAMPLE WAS COLLECTED FROM TANK 9P AND MEASURED 0.48 FREE RESIDUAL CHLORINE. A SAMPLE WAS COLLECTED FROM THE SAMPLING POINT BY THE STAFF ENGINEER AND READ USING THE SHIP'S COLOR COMPARATOR. THE SAMPLE MEASURED AT 1.8 PPM, CORRESPONDING TO THE 1.72 PPM READING OF THE INSPECTOR.

ONE FOOD EMPLOYEE GASTROINTESTINAL ILLNESS CASE WAS RETURNED TO WORK ON THE SECOND DAY AFTER ILLNESS SYMPTOMS SUBSIDED, BUT NO TIME WAS WRITTEN IN THE MEDICAL RECORD TO ENSURE 48 HOURS WAS REACHED.
