Site: Potable Water-
Violation: THERE WERE 5 DAYS SINCE THE LAST INSPECTION FOR BOTH PRODUCTION AND BUNKERING WHERE IT TOOK MORE THAN 1/2 AN HOUR TO REACH 2 PPM. THE TIMES RANGED FROM 45 MINUTES TO 2 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES.
Recommendation: Ensure that potable water is continuously halogenated to at least 2.0 mg/L (ppm) free residual halogen at the time of bunkering or production with an automatic halogenation device that is controlled by a flow meter. Ensure that the 2.0 ppm is reached within a 1/2 hour of starting bunkering or production.

Violation: A BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE WAS NOT PROVIDED ON ONE OF THE POTABLE WATER LINES SUPPLYING THE HOSE BIB CONNECTIONS NEXT TO THE HAND WASH SINK.
Recommendation: Ensure that backflow preventers are installed when air gaps are impractical or when water under pressure is required.

Violation: THERE WERE SEVERAL SMALL DIAMETER POTABLE WATER LINES THAT WERE NOT STRIPED BLUE IN THE GOOFY POOL ROOM, MAIN LAUNDRY, GARBAGE ROOM AND THE PHOTO LAB. A BLUE STRIPED LINE WAS NOTED ON THE WATER LINE AFTER THE REDUCED PRESSURE BACKFLOW PROTECTION DEVICE IN THE NOT A POOL PUMP ROOM.
Recommendation: Ensure that potable water piping and fittings are painted or stripped auxiliary blue, or in accordance with ISO 14726, at 5 m (15 feet) intervals on each side of partitions, decks, and bulkheads in all spaces, except where the decor would be marred by such markings. Remove the blue stripe after the reduced pressure backflow protection device in the not a pool pump room.

Violation: THREE OUT OF 4 WHIRLPOOLS WERE NOT PROVIDED WITH ANTI-ENTRAPMENT (ANTI-VORTEX) DRAIN COVERS.
Recommendation: Ensure that anti-entrapment drain covers or other drains that prevent entrapment hazards as specified in U.S. Consumer Product Safety Publication 363-009801 (dual drains/channel drains) are provided on swimming pools and whirlpool spas. Ensure that drain covers have either the plumbing/engineering approving organization stamp and flow rate affixed to the cover, or that a letter is maintained aboard the vessel certifying that the cover meets the safety requirements outlined in AMSE/ANSI A112.19.8M or an equivalent standard.

Violation: THE DOOR GASKET WAS NOT INSTALLED ON REACH-IN REFRIGERATOR 213. FOOD WAS NOT LOCATED IN THE UNIT AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION. THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF THE UNIT MEASURED 55F.
Recommendation: Replace the missing door gasket.

Violation: THE MANIFOLD TEMPERATURE GAUGE ON THE DISHWASH MACHINE MEASURED 210F WHILE THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE FROM THE MANUFACTURES DATA PLATE NOTED 194F. THE PLATE SURFACE TEMPERATURE MEASURED 160F. THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT STEAM WAS COMING FROM THE NOZZLES.
Recommendation: Ensure that warewashing equipment is maintained in good repair and proper adjustment including: (1) Being maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the standards of the materials, design, and construction of these guidelines; and (2) Maintaining water pressure, and water temperature measuring devices in good repair and ensuring their accuracy within the intended range of use.

Violation: THE LOWER LEFT FINAL SANITIZING RINSE SPRAY NOZZLE CAP WAS NOT INSTALLED, CREATING AN UNEVEN SPRAY.
