Site: Other-SWIMMING POOLS
Violation: HALOGEN RESIDUALS (CHLORINE) WAS BELOW 1.0 PPM FOR SWIMMING POOLS 1, SWIMMING 2 AND 3 AFTER REPEATED SAMPLES. ALL THE SWIMMING POOLS WERE OPEN AT THE TIME OF TESTING AND SWIMMING POOL #3 HAD GUESTS ACTIVELY USING THE POOL. THE READINGS FOR THIS POOL WERE: 0.74, 0.78, 0.80 PPM CHLORINE.
Recommendation: 6.2.2.1.1 A free residual halogen of >1.0 and <3.0 mg/L (ppm) shall be maintained in recirculated swimming pools.

Site: Other-WHIRLPOOL SPAS
Violation: WHIRLPOOL SPAS #2 AND #5 WERE TESTED REPEATEDLY BELOW 3.0 PPM FREE CHLORINE RESIDUAL. THE HIGHEST VALUES RECORDED WERE 2.4 AND 2.5 PPM RESPECTIVELY. THE WHIRLPOOL SPAS WERE OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE AT THE TIME OF TESTING.
Recommendation: 6.3.2.1.1 Whirlpool spas shall maintain a free residual chlorine of >3.0 mg/L (ppm) and <10 mg/L (ppm), or a free residual bromine of >4.0 mg/L (ppm) and <10 mg/L (ppm).

Site: Other-WHIRLPOOL SPAS
Violation: A SIGN WAS NOT INSTALLED NEAR THE WHIRLPOOL SPAS (ADJACENT TO POOLS #2 AND #3) LISTING STANDARD SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND RISKS FOR SUSCEPTIBLE PEOPLE, SUCH AS THOSE WHO ARE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED. THE REQUIRED SIGNAGE WAS FOUND FOR WHIRLPOOLS ADJACENT TO SWIMMING POOL #1 (SOLARIUM).
Recommendation: 6.4.1.1.3 A sign shall be installed near the whirlpool spas that lists standard safety precautions and risks, warning against use by particularly susceptible people, such as those who are immunocompromised.

Site: Other-WINDJAMMER - COFFEE STATION (PORT)
Violation: THE LAMINATE COUNTERTOP WAS CHIPPED ALONG THE EDGE.
Recommendation: 7.4.1.1.9 Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment that are exposed to splash, spillage, or other food soiling or that require frequent cleaning shall be constructed of a corrosion-resistant, nonabsorbent, and smooth material.

Violation: METAL CARAFES WERE FOUND UPRIGHT WITH WATER INSIDE COMING OUT OF THE CLEAN SIDE OF THE WAREWASH MACHINE.
Recommendation: 7.5.5.3.3 Soiled items to be cleaned in a warewashing machine shall be loaded into racks, trays, or baskets or onto conveyors in a position that: (1) Exposes the items to the unobstructed spray from all cycles; and (2) Allows the items to drain.

Violation: TWO PREVIOUSLY CLEANED SPOONS WERE FOUND IN THE CLEAN UTENSILS DISPENSER AT THE STBD HEART STARTERS SELF-SERVICE LINE.
Recommendation: 7.5.5.1.1 Food-contact surfaces of equipment and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch.

Violation: A FEW METAL CARAFES WERE NOT STORED INVERTED ALLOWING WATER TO DRAIN OUT.
Recommendation: 7.5.7.3.2 Clean equipment and utensils shall be stored: (1) In a self-draining position that allows air drying; and (2) Covered or inverted.
