Site: Other-POOLS - CHILDRENS POOL
Violation: THERE WAS A SINGLE DRAIN IN THE CHILDREN'S POOL. THE DRAIN COVER HAD AN ANTI-VORTEX DESIGN, BUT THERE WAS NO LETTER CONFIRMING THAT IT WAS TESTED AND MET ANTI-VORTEX CRITERIA.
Recommendation: 6.4.1.2.2 Anti-vortex drain covers shall be provided on swimming pools and whirlpool spas where only single, non-channeled drains exist.

Violation: SLIGHT MOLD RESIDUE WAS NOTED ON THE FRONT EXTERIOR END OF THE ICE MAKER CUBER PANEL IN THE PANTRY DECK 1 FORWARD.
Recommendation: 7.5.5.1.3 Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Violation: HEAVY IRON RESIDUE WAS PRESENT ALONG THE UPPER WATERFALL AND TOP OF THE CUBERS INSIDE THE ICE MACHINE IN THE DECK 1 FORWARD PANTRY. ADDITIONALLY THERE WAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF MOLD NOTED IN THE LOWER WATER TRAY BELOW THE LEFT SIDE CUBER PANEL.
Recommendation: 7.3.3.4.1 Food shall only contact surfaces of equipment and utensils that are cleaned and sanitized.

Recommendation: 7.6.2.3.6 Lubricants shall meet the requirements specified in 21 CFR 178.3570 Lubricants with Incidental Food-Contact, if they are used on food-contact surfaces, on bearings and gears located on or within food-contact surfaces, or on bearings and gears that are located so that lubricants may leak, drip, or be forced into food or onto food-contact surfaces.

Violation: THE LUBRICANT USED IN THE FLOOR MIXERS WAS NOT A FOOD-GRADE PRODUCT, PER THE MATERIAL DATA SAFETY SHEET. THIS LUBRICANT WAS NOTED LEAKING FROM THE ATTACHMENT AREA BOLTS ON THE PASTRY AND APPETIZER PANTRY FLOOR MIXERS.
Recommendation: 7.5.7.2.1 Lubricants shall be applied to food-contact surfaces that require lubrication in a manner that does not contaminate food-contact surfaces.

Violation: THE SERVING TRAYS WERE IN DISREPAIR AROUND THE EDGES. STAFF STATED THAT THE TRAYS ARE SCHEDULED FOR REPLACEMENT THIS WEEK.
Recommendation: 7.4.5.1.2 Nonfood-contact equipment shall be maintained in good repair and proper adjustment including: (1) Equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the materials, design, construction, and operation specifications of these guidelines.
