Site: Potable Water-Bunkering
Violation: There were two dates in March where it took 40 and 55 minutes to reach a free halogen residual of at least 2 ppm at the start of bunkering.
Recommendation: Ensure that the free halogen residual reaches at least 2 ppm within 30 minutes of the start of bunkering.

Site: Potable Water-Garbage Room
Violation: There was a leak at the atmospheric vent on one of the backflow prevention devices on the hydro extractor machine. The vent on the other backflow prevention device on the hydro extractor machine was plugged.
Recommendation: Repair or replace the leaking backflow prevention device. Remove the plug on the vent.

Violation: The atmospheric vent on the backflow prevention device in the technical space in the sandwich preparation area was leaking.

Recommendation: Ensure that the anti-entrapment drain cover is installed properly.

Violation: Serving tongs were not available for the toast on the breakfast buffet line. This item was corrected.
Recommendation: Ensure that food-dispensing utensils are available for each container displayed at a consumer self-service unit such as a buffet or salad bar.

Violation: The door handle for the walk-in refrigerator fell off during the inspection.
Recommendation: Ensure that nonfood-contact equipment components such as doors, seals, hinges, fasteners, and kick plates are kept intact, tight, and adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.

Violation: The final sanitizing rinse nozzle on the left side of the conveyor warewash machine did not spray in a fan pattern. This was corrected.
Recommendation: Ensure that the final sanitizing rinse nozzles are functioning properly.
