The active monitoring records indicated the same time during each inspection day of the week. Some of these inspection times were while the area was in operation, and some were at night. Staff stated some areas inspected during operation at their designated time were not inspected during minimal activity or when the area was closed. There was no variation in the inspection times for any of the areas.
For example: Inspection Day 1 - two areas of deck 2 were inspected at 10 pm and 10:15 pm; Inspection Day 2 - the same bars on various decks were inspected at the same time each week between 1 am - 2:55 am.

Recommendation:
Ensure the vessel has an IPM plan to implement effective monitoring and control strategies for pests aboard the vessel. Ensure the IPM Plan sets a schedule for periodic active monitoring inspections, including some at night or during periods of no or minimal activity.

All other cases of food worker and other worker reporting during the voyages examined was exemplary.
