Site: Recreational Water Facilities-Badestamp
Violation: It was unclear if this facility was classified as a wading pool or whirlpool spa. The tub depth is 3 feet, 4 inches (1 meter); tub volume is 4.0112 cubic meters; turnover rate is 1.82 hours; and temperature is 98°F. To operate as a wading pool: - Decrease the maximum water depth to less than 1 meter (will need to update the depth marker and lower the skim level), - Decrease the maximum water temperature to so it can not be heated to more than 32°C (90°F), and - Ensure the turnover rate is less than 1 hour. To classify as a whirlpool spa: - Continue to operate at the heated water temperature, - Increase the chlorine dosing set point so the free chlorine residual is within 3-10 ppm, and - Ensure the turnover rate is less than 30 minutes.
