Site: Bar-Deck 8 - O'Sheehan's
Violation: The backflow prevention device's atmospheric relief vents were clogged. Remediation started immediately.
Recommendation: Maintain backflow prevention devices in good repair.

Site: Bar-Deck 12 - Great Outdoors Bar
Violation: The soda gun had slotted fasteners in the food contact area.
Recommendation: Use only low profile, nonslotted, noncorroding, and easy-to-clean fasteners on food-contact surfaces and in splash zones. Prohibit the use of exposed slotted screws, Phillips head screws, or pop rivets in these areas.

Site: Buffet-Deck 5 - Crew Mess Port Side Microwave
Violation: The bottom of the microwave was soiled with more than a day's worth of food debris. The microwave was cleaned immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment are kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Violation: The door to the toilet room did not completely shut. The door was fixed immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure toilet rooms are completely enclosed and have tight-fitting, self-closing doors which are kept closed except during cleaning or maintenance.

Violation: Frozen condensate formed on the deckhead hatch. No food was impacted. The area was cleaned immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, deckheads, and attached equipment in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are cleaned as often as necessary.

Violation: The deck grout was recessed around the hot line area.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are maintained in good repair.

Violation: Water consistently leaked from the utility sink faucet. This was corrected before the end of the inspection.
Recommendation: Ensure a plumbing system in a food area is maintained in good repair.

Violation: A large fly was in front of cold room 1265.
Recommendation: Effectively control the presence of insects, rodents, and other pests to minimize their presence in the food storage, preparation, and service areas and warewashing and utensil storage areas aboard a vessel.

Violation: The foam play mats were soiled and in disrepair throughout the facility.
Recommendation: Ensure surfaces of tables, chairs, and other furnishings that children touch with their hands are cleanable. Wash and disinfect decks when soiled or at least daily.
