Site: Buffet-Deck 16 Garden Cafe
Violation: The deck tile grout was recessed and in disrepair throughout the pizza line and the main line.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are maintained in good repair. Violation: One bowl out for passenger use near the fruit station was soiled on the food-contact surface with a speck of old food debris.

Violation: The flight-type warewash machine was in disrepair and taken out of service the morning of the inspection. Staff stated the warewash machine was not maintaining the proper wash temperature.
Recommendation: Maintain warewashing equipment in good repair and proper adjustment, including: (1) Warewashing equipment is maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the standards of the materials, design, and construction; (2) Water pressure and water temperature-measuring devices are maintained in good repair and accurate within the intended range of use.

Site: Galley-Deck 15 Observation Lounge
Violation: The grout between the integral deck coving tile and the stainless steel bulkhead was in disrepair, which created a difficult to clean rough surface near the soiled storage racks.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, bars, and food and equipment storage areas are constructed and maintained for easy cleaning. Site: Galley-Deck 15 Observation Lounge
Violation: The cooling log did not indicate a final cooling temperature of breaded pork that had an initial temperature of 55.8°F at 1751 on 10 July 2026. Staff stated the pork did not reach the proper temperature within time limits and it was discarded. The cooling log did not have a comment stating the food was discarded.
Recommendation: Ensure logs documenting cooked TCS/PHF cooling temperatures and times from the starting points designated in 7.2.5.2.1 through the control points at 2 and 6 hours are maintained onboard the vessel for 30 days from the date the food was placed in a cooling process. Ensure logs documenting cooling of TCS/PHF prepared from ingredients at ambient temperatures, with the start time to the time when 5°C (41°F) is reached are also maintained for a period of 30 days beginning with the day of preparation.

Violation: The back bar shelves and middle island containing open bottles of alcohol had a 90-degree angle without coving at the shelf/backsplash juncture.
Recommendation: Cove all bulkhead/deck, equipment/deck, cabinet/deck, counter/bulkhead/backsplash, and deck sink coaming/deck junctures in galleys, pantries, buffets, bars, waiter stations, dining room work counters, provisions, scrapping stations, food storage rooms, food transportation corridors, equipment or utensil storage rooms, and toilet rooms intended for use by food employees.

Violation: Grill #03 was soiled with grease in the storage compartment below the grill counter. Additionally, grill #34 was soiled with old food debris in the grease chute. The area was not in operation and had been previously cleaned.
Recommendation: Ensure nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment are kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.

Violation: When asked how toys were cleaned, the youth activity manager described spraying a rag approximately three times with disinfectant, then wiping toys; however, this would not provide an appropriate contact time for the disinfectant to be effective.
Recommendation: Ensure the supervisor or person responsible for child activity center operations on the vessel demonstrates to VSP, on request during inspections, knowledge of child activity operations, is able to demonstrate this knowledge by compliance with Section 10 of the VSP Environmental Public Health Standards or by responding correctly to the inspector?s questions as they relate to the specific operation, and ensures employees are properly trained to comply with Section 10 of the VSP Environmental Public Health Standards as it relates to their assigned duties.

Site: Recreational Water Facilities-Deck 16 - Spa Thalassotherapy Pool
Violation: The pool safety sign did not include the phrase 'No children in diapers or who are not toilet trained.' The sign states guests must be at least 18 years old to use the pool; however, the ship does not have an approved variance to remove the required language.
Recommendation: Provide safety signs for all RWFs. Ensure signs are in a prominent and unobstructed location for all users of the RWF. At a minimum, include the following words: (1) Do not use these facilities if you are experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, or fever. (2) No children in diapers or who are not toilet trained; (3) Shower before entering the facility; (4) Bather load #. For children?s RWF safety signs, include the exact wording ?TAKE CHILDREN ON FREQUENT BATHROOM BREAKS? or ?TAKE CHILDREN ON FREQUENT TOILET BREAKS.?
