Site: Food Service General-Flies
Violation: Flies were in the following food areas: Deck 14 - Sky Bar Pantry - One fly was near the hood-type glasswash machine. Deck 5 - Blu Galley - One fly was near the soiled drop off area. Deck 3 - Main Galley - One fly was around the starboard side dishwash area. Deck 3 - Main Galley Pastry - One fly was in the area.
Recommendation: Effectively control the presence of insects, rodents, and other pests to minimize their presence in food areas.

Site: Bar-Deck 5 - Cafe al Bacio
Violation: Water splashed from the hood-type dishwashing machine and pooled on the deck below. The water was mopped up immediately and maintenance on the dishwashing machine was completed before the inspector left the area.
Recommendation: Maintain warewashing equipment in good repair and proper adjustment, including: (1) Warewashing equipment is maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the standards of the materials, design, and construction.

Violation: Water splashed from the hood-type dishwashing machine and pooled on the deck below. This was cleaned up immediately.
Recommendation: Ensure gray water is discharged to the vessel's wastewater disposal system and does not pool on the deck.

Violation: More than a day's accumulation of ice buildup was on the back right bulkhead corner.

Violation: More than a day's worth of ice accumulated on the bulkhead panel junctures near the bottom shelf next to the freezer.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, deckheads, and attached equipment in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are cleaned as often as necessary.

Violation: Only one shepherd's hook and life ring were in the walkway between the sports pool and family pool.
Recommendation: Provide a rescue or shepherd?s hook and an approved flotation device at a prominent location (visible from the full perimeter of the pool) at each RWF that has a depth of 1 meter (3.3 feet) or greater.

Violation: The deck below the upright refrigerator was soiled with broken glass and food debris. Additionally, the grout along the top of the deck coving tiles behind the ice machine was soiled with a black residue. The area was not in operation and had been previously cleaned.
Recommendation: Ensure decks, bulkheads, deckheads, and attached equipment in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are cleaned as often as necessary.

Violation: Two previously cleaned and sanitized black snack bowls stored in the clean storage racks were soiled with old food debris on the food-contact surface.
Recommendation: Ensure food-contact surfaces of equipment and utensils are clean to sight and touch.

Violation: Previously cleaned and sanitized glasses were stored in a rack that was soiled with dark-colored residue on the edges.
Recommendation: Store cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, and single-service articles and single-use articles: (1) In a clean, dry location; (2) In a location where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; (3) At least 150 millimeters (6 inches) above the deck unless in packages on pallets, skids, or racks, which may be 127 millimeters (5 inches) above the deck.

Violation: The stone tile deck grout was in disrepair, throughout the show galley and water collected in the areas of disrepair.

Violation: The sealant was in disrepair which created and open seam between the two countertop sections near the microwave.
Recommendation: Ensure nonfood-contact surfaces are free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices, and are designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance.

Violation: The top shelf above the soup wells was soiled with black debris. The shelf was below the air supply vent and the area was not in operation.

Violation: The counter-mounted ice machine and the espresso machine were not in use and out of order. Both will be removed during dry dock in January 2027.
