THE COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES DID NOT INCLUDE AIR GAPS AND DEVICES INSTALLED ON CABIN SHOWER HOSES.
Recommendation:
5.7.1.1.4 Ensure that the cross-connection control program includes a complete listing of cross-connections and the backflow prevention method/device for each, so there is a match to the plumbing system component and location.

THERE WAS NO BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE INSTALLED ON THE SINK USED FOR THE PRESSURE WASH UNIT USED TO CLEAN THE FILTERS.
Recommendation:
Install a vented, continuous pressure backflow prevention device on the sink faucet or the potable water lines to the sink.

THE MERCURE NEUTRAL TROLLEY USED TO STORE AND TRANSPORT BAKED GOODS DID NOT HAVE COVED CORNERS AND HAD OTHER DIFFICULT TO CLEAN FEATURES.
Recommendation:
Ensure that food-contact surfaces of food equipment complies with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or other internationally accredited food-equipment sanitation standards for materials, design, and construction.

THERE WERE NO RECORDS OF PEST INSPECTIONS OF INCOMING SHIPMENTS OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES. THIS IS A NEW REQUIREMENT OF THE 2005 VSP OPERATIONS MANUAL.
Recommendation:
8.2.1.1.3 Ensure that incoming shipments of food and supplies are routinely inspected for evidence of insects, rodents, and other pests. Ensure that a record of these inspections is maintained onboard the vessel and available for review during inspections.

Recommendation:
