The male reproductive system consists of the scrotum, testes, epididymis, accessory glands, and penis. The female reproductive system consists of the ovaries connected by uterine tubes (oviducts) to the uterus, cervix, vagina, and clitoris. Typically, the male reproductive system produces sperm, and the female reproductive system produces eggs. The female body combines the sperm and egg to form a single cell (zygote), and forms a nurturing environment for the offspring to develop.
