ATSDR Announces Public Availability Sessions For The Alberton Train Derailment Site

The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry will hold two public availability sessions in the Alberton, Montana, area on May 22nd and 23rd.

The meetings will be to discuss the summary report of the findings from the Alberton Medical Intervention and Health Evaluation. Dr. Cynthia Lewis-Younger will present her findings and answer questions.

The first public availability session will be held at 7:00 p.m. on May 22nd at the Catholic Church on Main Street in Frenchtown. The session on May 23rd will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Math Room at Alberton High School on Railroad Street. Members of the public are invited to drop in at any time during the session to talk about their health and site concerns with A-T-S-D-R representatives and with Dr. Younger.

A-T-S-D-R is a federal public health agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
