Asthma attack is defined as those who have ever been told by a doctor or other health professional that they had asthma and during the past 12 months had an episode of asthma or an asthma attack. Non-smokers are those who had never smoked or those who smoked <100 cigarettes during their entire life. Working adults are those who were employed in the week prior to the survey. Estimated populations represent current U.S. workers aged ≥18 years.
