The team driver placed himself near the tandems while the semi-truck driver climbed into the truck cab to rock the truck so that the tandems would slide into place.     The Washington State Logger Safety Initiative (LSI) is designed to improve safety and enhance a positive safety culture in logging. We surveyed industrial timberland owners to capture landowner involvement in contract logger safety. Nine responses were obtained. Survey responses were obtained during April and May 2015 and evaluated for themes by the primary author. The survey was not intended to evaluate compliance with the LSI landowner program requirements.
